Founded by artist, Rocky Casillas Aguirre, ROKATURAS is on a mission to help youth awaken to their infinite potential. Since 2023, the studio has been publishing mindfulness comics and children’s books that encourage young people to live authentically and create safe spaces to talk about mental health.
ABOUT ROCKY
Rocky is a Latino and LGBTQ artist, originally from Tijuana - a border town and the largest city in Baja California, Mexico. His comics and creative efforts are inspired by personal struggles with anxiety and identity, and the exploration of the mind.
He launched ROKATURAS late 2020, after taking refuge in art and meditation to overcome years of panic attacks. Through his magical characters and stories, Rocky shares mindfulness tips and lessons learned while on his healing journey in hopes of helping others.
